For boilers such as Horizontal Electrical Steam Boiler whose water connection
of the water level gauge is below the maximum fire limit, emergency stop the
boiler immediately, reduce furnace temperature, close the main steam valve and
water supply valve. For the boilers with a larger water capacity and a water
connection higher than the highest fire limit of the boiler, the "water" method
can be used to determine the degree of deficiency so as to take corresponding
measures.
When the water shortage is not serious, the combustion can be reduced, the
load can be reduced, the water can be loaded slowly, and after the normal water
level is restored, the combustion equipment can be started to heat up gradually
and the pressure can be boosted into operation.
Through "call water", judged as serious water shortage, must be emergency
shut down furnace, is strictly prohibited to blindly water boiler. Never allow a
fluke to attempt to cover up the responsibility of causing water shortage in the
boiler and blindly water supply. This kind of wrong practice often leads to
great disaster, enlarge the accident, even cause the boiler explosion and the
furnace is destroyed.
